Phuket – A Magical Journey
The magical journey to Phuket is an 8-days, 7-nights long trip.
Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, located 862km from Bangkok. It is inhabited by approximately 380,000 residents.
East of Phuket, on the mainland, is the city of Krabi, and to the southeast you will find the tiny island of Koh Phi Phi. Phuket is connected to the Thai mainland by two bridges located in the island’s northern area.
Phuket maintains a developed tourism industry and is considered to be one of the most popular holiday spots in southeast Asia. Pa Tong Beach, located in the western part of the island, is the centre of Phuket’s nightlife, with arguably the best nightlife in the country, rivalled only by Pattaya, which is located east of Bangkok. Approximately 90% of the tourists visiting Thailand spend between 4 days to a month on average on the island of Phuket and on the neighbouring islands.
Trip Overview
Day 1: Phuket
Upon arrival at the island’s airport, we will meet with the agency’s representative and take a shuttle to the hotel, located in the beach area.
In the evening we’ll head to the nightlife area at the beautiful and rumbustious Patong beach, accompanied by the tour guide.
Day 2: Phuket
Day 3: The Phi Phi Isles
We’ll start the tour at the pristine Bamboo Island.Next, we’ll visit Phi Phi Don and its famous beach and snorkel around the island, to observe the magnificent underwater life of the area.
We’ll climb to the fabulous viewpoint and have lunch, spend some time at the magical beach and head back by boat through the famous turquoise waters back to Phuket.
Day 4: Phang-Nga
We’ll visit the famous James Bond Island, where we can purchase pearls harvested from the deep sea and sold on site. We’ll have lunch and then go canoeing along the mangrove trees and the many caves in the area. In the afternoon we’ll head back to the hotel.
Day 5: Phuket
Day 6: The Jungle
Day 7: Jungle Safari
Afterwards, we will pay a visit to the Monkey Temple and the Rubber Tree Plantation, where we will learn about the process of rubber manufacturing and observe the rubber tapping. A local lunch of southern Thailand’s finest local dishes will be served during the trip.
